Children in Need week

Birmingham Day Nurseries have had a very special visitor this week: Pudsey Bear!

To mark this year’s Children in Need, the Oaks and the Elms welcomed Pudsey into their playrooms to join in the fundraising fun.

Throughout the week, children and staff have taken part in a Pudsey dance-off, a bear hunt in the Forest School and some ‘spotacular’ artwork. The children have baked Pudsey biscuits. He even joined in with a yoga class at the Elms!

On Friday, some of the children at the Oaks will bring in their own bears from home to ‘Fly High’ in a parachute bounce. And of course the nurseries never miss an opportunity to dress up, so everyone will be wearing Children in Need accessories or tops, or dressing up as pirates.

Don’t forget to Do Your Thing and join in too, at BBC Children in Need. All money raised goes to projects across the UK to benefit children. It’s a wonderful cause, and all the staff at the Elms and the Oaks are proud to show their support.
